Just Transition is a framework developed by the trade union movement[1] to encompass a range of social interventions needed to secure workers’ rights and livelihoods when economies are shifting to sustainable sourcing, primarily avoiding climate change and protecting biodiversity.


What is Zero Waste?

Zero Waste is a set of principles focused on waste prevention that encourages the redesign of resource life cycles so that all products are reused. The goal is for no trash to be sent to landfills, incinerators, or the ocean. Currently, only 9% of plastic is actually recycled. The zero waste system, the material will be reused until the optimum level of consumption.[1]
